The chief adviser is scheduled to attend the Earthna Summit 2025 in Doha, Qatar, on 22-23 April, at the invitation of Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
"The visit of Muhammad Yunus to Qatar will lead to the establishment of a strong friendship and deeper engagement between the two countries," Bangladesh Ambassador to Qatar Md Nazrul Islam told The Business Standard.

A top foreign ministry official said since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1974, Bangladesh and Qatar have been maintaining exemplary bilateral relations.
He added that commonness of religion and culture, regular bilateral visits, increase of manpower export and common position on regional and international issues have strengthened the ties between the two countries.
