Bullet-ridden bodies recovered in Lakshmipur
Two dead in shootout between terrorist groups
Police recovered the bodies of two men from Lakshmipur sadar upazila this morning.
The deceased are Shahadat Hossain, son of Abu Taher of the sadar's Darjipara village, and Khorshed Alam, son of Tofail Ahmed of Boroitola village.
The bodies were found in the Dattapara Union in Bakutala area. Police said the two men were killed in a crossfire between two terrorist groups.

Police made their way to Bakultala after hearing gunshots and found the two bullet-wound bodies upon arrival.
The duo was pronounced dead after the police took them to the hospital.
Dattapara Police Station inspector in-charge Makhan Lal Roy said, "There are 12 cases against Khorshed and nine cases against Shahadat at different police stations. They both had two warrants out for their arrest."
Police recovered weapons and bullets from the scene.
