Buet students to continue class, exam boycott
The demonstrators have decided to stand firm on their 10-point demand
The protesting students of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) has announced to boycott all academic activities until politics of terror and unhealthy ragging culture are banned from the campus.
The demonstrators have decided to stand firm on their 10-point demand centring the brutal murder of Abrar Fahad.
The students made the announcement on Tuesday afternoon at a press conference held at the Buet Shahid Minar.

The demonstrations officially came to an end on October 16, but the students will continue to boycott all classes and examinations in Buet. Several protesting students told The Business Standard that the administration has fulfilled only two of their ten-point demands as yet.
Abrar, a second-year student of electrical and electronic engineering department of Buet, was beaten to death allegedly by some Chhatra League men at a dormitory of the university in early hours of October 7.
