BTMA inks deal with Shanghai Textile Association for annual DTG exhibition
DTG aims to showcase developments in textile and garment machinery and related technologies
The Bangladesh Textile Mills Association today (11 April) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Shanghai Textile Association and two exhibition firms to jointly organise the Dhaka International Textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition (DTG).
The agreement was also signed with Link Well Exhibition Co Ltd and ECO Expo Bangladesh at a hotel in Gulshan, according to a BTMA press release. Under the agreement, the parties will jointly plan, organise, and manage the exhibition on an annual basis.
DTG aims to showcase developments in textile and garment machinery and related technologies.
The organisers said the partnership will help position the exhibition as a global platform for trade and innovation in the sector.
The Shanghai Textile Association represents textile and apparel enterprises in Shanghai, a major manufacturing and trade hub in China.
DTG 2026 is scheduled to be held from 16 to 19 December at the International Convention City Bashundhara.
On behalf of BTMA, the MoU was signed by Abdullah Al Mamun, convener of its DTG committee. Other signatories included Fan Sheng Bin, Luo Xiao Ying, and Md Rajwanur Rahman.
