BSF pushes in 70 more people through Sylhet, Sunamganj borders in one night
BGB says 22 among the detainees are men, 18 are women, and 30 are children

The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has pushed in 70 more people through the borders of Sylhet and Sunamganj.
These push-in incidents occurred from last night (11 June) to this morning (12 June) through the border areas of Jaflong and Companiganj in Sylhet, and Chhatak in Sunamganj.
BGB-48 Commander Lt Colonel Nazmul Hasan said 22 among the detainees are men, 18 are women, and 30 are children.
He said the detainees are being handed over to the respective police stations.
BGB said BSF pushed 40 people into Bangladesh through the Mokampunji and Minatila borders of Sylhet's Jaintiapur upazila at night.
At that time, BGB detained them on charges of illegal entry.
Similarly, after BSF pushed 13 people into Bangladesh through the Kalairag border of Companiganj upazila at night, BGB detained them.
With this, 53 people were pushed in through three border areas of Sylhet district in one night. BGB-48 officials said the returnees are residents of Lalmonirhat and Kurigram.
Additionally, on the same night, 17 more people were pushed in through the Nowakot border of Sunamganj's Chhatak upazila.
They were also detained. BGB reports that all the detainees are residents of Lalmonirhat.
