Bomb-like object found again at Carew and Co in Chuadanga
Two days ago, a RAB bomb disposal unit recovered and defused a crude bomb from the same area

A bomb-like object was found in a bush on the premises of Carew and Company Limited in Darshana, Chuadanga today (15 February), causing panic among the officials and employees of the sugar mill.
Police and army members have surrounded the scene on suspicion that it could be a crude bomb.
Darshana Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Shahid Titumir said, "It is not yet possible to say what exactly the object is, but the RAB's bomb disposal team has been informed. More details will be known after they arrive."
Al Farooq Omar Sharif Ghalib, manager (administration) of Carew and Company, said security personnel of the company saw the bomb-like object wrapped in black tape in a bush in front of the mill's officers' quarters this afternoon.
The matter was soon reported to police.
On 13 February, the RAB's bomb disposal unit recovered and defused a crude bomb from the same area.
The previous incident is still being investigated. The police have not yet been able to identify anyone involved in the incident.
