BNP's Salahuddin files charges against Hasina, 6 others in ICT over his own enforced disappearance
The BNP leader calls upon those who were victims of enforced disappearances, killings, and torture during the fascist era in Bangladesh to file cases regarding all these incidents

BNP Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed has filed charges against seven people, including former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, at the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) regarding his own enforced disappearance.
He submitted these charges to Chief Prosecutor Mohammad Tajul Islam of the tribunal today (3 June).
The complaint names seven individuals: former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, former inspector general of police Benazir Ahmed, police officer Monirul Islam, army officer Ziaul Ahsan, DMP commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia, and AKM Shahidul Haque.
After filing the enforced disappearance charges, Salahuddin Ahmed told reporters:
"I call upon those who were victims of enforced disappearances, killings, and torture during the fascist era in Bangladesh to file cases regarding all these incidents. I urge for increased logistic support so that all these cases can be tried at the ICT," Salahuddin told reporters after filing the charges.
"This nation's aspiration is justice not just for July-August but for all the people who were killed and tortured in the previous era. There will be trials for everything. These are our promises." he added.
