Biman flight from Dubai returns to Ctg airport after take-off due to technical glitch

A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight from Dubai was forced to return to Chattogram's Shah Amanat International Airport this morning (24 July) due to a technical glitch, which it experienced shortly after departing for Dhaka.
The flight, BG 148, carrying 287 passengers, initially landed at the Chattogram airport at 7:15am as part of its scheduled route. It later departed for Dhaka at 8:37am.
However, shortly after takeoff, the aircraft experienced a technical malfunction and returned to Chittagong, landing safely at 8:58am, confirmed the airport's Public Relations Officer Ibrahim Khalil.
He said the aircraft is currently stationed at the airport's Bay No. 8 and all passengers on board are safe.
Airport authorities later confirmed that all passengers were successfully reboarded onto an alternative flight, BG 122. The replacement flight departed for Dhaka at 10:50am, according to a press release.
