BGB strengthens border patrols to prevent smuggling of sacrificial animal hides
The force is also maintaining heightened vigilance to thwart any potential push-in attempts through the borders

Alongside ensuring border security and maintaining internal law and order, the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has taken a strict stance to prevent the smuggling of sacrificial animal hides across the border during Eid-ul-Adha.
The force is also maintaining heightened vigilance to thwart any potential push-in attempts through the borders, the BGB said in a statement today (7 June).
In continuation of these efforts, BGB personnel remained on high alert even on Eid day, intensifying surveillance and patrol activities along the border, reads the statement.
