Bangladesh to send emergency aid, rescue team to earthquake-hit Myanmar tomorrow: ISPR
A rescue team from the Bangladesh Armed Forces will depart for Myanmar on a special flight tomorrow

In response to the devastation caused by a recent earthquake in Myanmar, which killed more than 1,600 people, the Bangladesh Armed Forces will provide emergency medicine, relief supplies, rescue operations, and medical aid to the country.
According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), as part of this initiative, a rescue team from the Bangladesh Armed Forces will depart for Myanmar on a special flight tomorrow (30 March).
More than 1,600 people have been killed in Myanmar and thousands more injured following a 7.7 magnitude earthquake that was also felt in neighbouring countries, reports BBC.
Friday's 7.7 magnitude quake, among the biggest to jolt the Southeast Asian nation in the last century, crippled airports, bridges and highways amid a civil war that has wrecked the economy and displaced millions.
In neighbouring Thailand, where the quake rattled buildings and brought down a skyscraper under construction in the capital Bangkok, at least nine people were killed.
