The closing ceremony of the training of trainers (ToT) program on software architecture ended recently in the city with the goal of fostering knowledge exchange and strengthening collaboration between Bangladesh and Japan in this sector.

At the program, 30 attendees of the training, including 17 professionals from the members of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) were present, said a press release today.

It said the ToT program played a significant role in enhancing trainers' expertise to meet the dynamic demands of the global market, particularly in architecture and technology.

Participants at ToT expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn from industry experts and collaborate with peers, emphasising the program's impact on their professional growth.

Bangladesh Top Software Engineer (B-TOPSE) program, aimed at developing "super architects" by equipping software engineers with cutting-edge expertise, is being conducted in partnership with BASIS, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC).

Speaking at the ceremony, BASIS President M Rashidul Hasan highlighted the importance of intercultural collaboration in enhancing the skills and capabilities of professionals in the architecture and software sectors.

He encouraged participants to embrace the unique elements of both Bangladeshi and Japanese cultures and industries, using them as a foundation for innovation and progress.

AKM Ahmedul Islam BABU, Chairman of BASIS Japan Desk and Coordinator of B-TOPSE said that such collaborations between Bangladesh and Japan not only advance technological development but also foster deep professional relationships.

The fusion of Japan's advanced technology and Bangladesh's creative skills will unlock new opportunities for both nations in the future, he added.
