Bangladesh-China Chamber elects new executive committee for 2025–2027

The Bangladesh China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCCI) has announced its new leadership for the 2025–2027 term, with Md Khorshed Alam, managing director of Intimate International Limited, a sister concern of Little Group, elected as president, and Jamilur Rahman, managing director of Extol (Bangladesh) Limited, as secretary general.
According to a press release, the newly elected Executive Committee (EC) formally took charge on 9 October at the BCCCI office in Gulshan, Dhaka. The handover ceremony was presided over by Nargis Murshida, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Administrator of BCCCI.
The 24-member EC was declared a day earlier by Md Sayed Ali, chairman of the BCCCI Election Board, following the completion of the chamber's bi-annual election. The election process was conducted under the supervision of Nargis Murshida.
Other key office bearers include Han Jingchao, Managing Director of China Goldview Resource Company Limited, as senior vice president, and AZM Azizur Rahman, Chairman of Investors Services Company Limited, along with Brigadier General (Retd.) G M Quamrul Islam.
The vice presidents are Mohammad Hafizur Rahman Khan, managing director of Univentures Limited; Chao Chongchong, managing director of Huisida International BD Ltd; Khandaker Atiqur Rahman, managing director of ARK Consultant and Engineering Limited; and Mohammad Masud Ali Khan, proprietor of M3 International.
The new committee pledged to strengthen trade, investment, and economic collaboration between Bangladesh and China in the coming years.
