Army did not provide buses to any political party: ISPR
The army urged the public not to be misled by such claims and to refrain from sharing any unverified information

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has refuted a social media claim alleging that the Bangladesh Army provided buses to a political party for its programme, calling the allegation baseless.
In a statement issued today (19 July), the ISPR described the claim as "completely false, deliberately misleading, and an attempt to tarnish the image of the army."
The statement clarified that certain private buses are occasionally rented from external sources to facilitate student transportation at various educational institutions run by the army. These rented buses may temporarily carry "Bangladesh Army" labels or logos.
"However, in some cases, after the contract with the army has expired, these buses continue to use the army's name or logo illegally to gain certain benefits on the road — an act that is both improper and unlawful," reads the statement.
The ISPR further alleged that a vested group is intentionally trying to drag the military into controversy.
The army urged the public not to be misled by such claims and to refrain from sharing any unverified information.
