Algerian ambassador visits Bangladesh Shishu Hospital, distributes gifts to children

Abdel Wahab Saidani, ambassador of Algeria to Bangladesh, visited Bangladesh Shishu Hospital & Institute in Dhaka on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
He was accompanied by his three children and diplomats from the Algerian Embassy. The visit was part of a goodwill gesture and support towards the children admitted to the hospital.
Upon arrival, the ambassador and his delegation were warmly received by Professor Dr. Md. Mahbubul Haque, director of Bangladesh Shishu Hospital & Institute.
The ambassador, along with his children, took part in a special event organised to celebrate Eid with the children currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
As part of the Eid celebrations, Saidani and his children distributed a total of 271 gift packs, each containing essential items for the children.
The gesture was appreciated by the hospital staff and the families of the children, who were touched by the ambassador's thoughtfulness during this festive occasion.
In his remarks, Ambassador Saidani expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to spend Eid with the children at the Bangladesh Shishu Hospital & Institute.
He mentioned that Algeria is keen to strengthen its collaboration with the health sector of Bangladesh, particularly with the Shishu Hospital.
The ambassador highlighted the importance of international cooperation in improving healthcare services for children and expressed Algeria's desire to work more closely with Bangladesh to enhance the well-being of children in need of medical attention.
