Air Force delegation pays tribute at grave of Milestone crash victim Raisa Moni
Today (2 August), around 2pm, the delegation, led by Squadron Leader Md Jihadul Islam of Jashore Matiur Rahman Base, visited Raisa’s ancestral village of Bajra in Gopalpur Union under Alfadanga upazila.

A Bangladesh Air Force delegation has paid tribute at the grave of 11-year-old Raisa Moni, a third-grade student from Alfadanga, Faridpur, who died in the recent plane crash at Milestone School and College in Dhaka's Uttara.
Today (2 August), around 2pm, the delegation, led by Squadron Leader Md Jihadul Islam of Jashore Matiur Rahman Base, visited Raisa's ancestral village of Bajra in Gopalpur Union under Alfadanga upazila.
The visit was made on behalf of Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan.

The team first visited Raisa's home to express condolences to her grieving family members.
They later visited her grave, offered prayers, and laid wreaths, accompanied by a ceremonial guard of honour.
Alfadanga Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Russell Iqbal confirmed the visit.
"Squadron Leader Md Jihadul Islam, as a representative of the Air chief, visited the home of Raisa Moni to stand beside the bereaved family and paid respects at her grave. Prayers were offered for the souls of those who died in the incident and for the swift recovery of those injured," he said.
Raisa Moni, a student of the Bangla medium section at Milestone School and College, was killed on 21 July when a training aircraft crashed into the school building during a routine flight.
She had been missing after the incident, and her body was later identified on 23 July.
Following confirmation through DNA testing, her remains were handed over to her family on 24 July.
Raisa, who sustained burns on 80% of her body, was buried at her ancestral home in Faridpur on 25 July.
