ACC sues 3 BCS officials for using fake certificates to get job
Among them, two joined the BCS Administration Cadre, and one joined the BCS Foreign Service Cadre.
The ACC today (27 January) filed 3 cases against three BCS cadres on charges of obtaining jobs in the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) by submitting forged academic certificates to the Public Service Commission (PSC).

The officials named in the ACC case list are Sanjoy Das of the 38th BCS Administration cadre (Reg. No. 082947), Sukanta Kundu of the 41st BCS Administration cadre (Reg. No. 11066296), and Abu Saleh Md Musa of the 38th BCS Foreign Service cadre (Reg. No. 082814).
This information was disclosed to the journalists by the Anti-Corruption Commission's Director General, Md. Akhtar Hossain during a regular media briefing at the ACC headquarters here.
According to the ACC, Sukanta Kundu, an officer of the 41st BCS Administration Cadre, prepared a forged transcript through fraudulent means and submitted it to the PSC to secure an appointment in the Administration Cadre. Later, the submitted transcript was proven to be fake during the investigation.
Similar allegations were brought against Abu Saleh Md. Musa, an officer of the 38th BCS Foreign Affairs Cadre and Sanjay Das, an officer of the 38th BCS Administration Cadre.
According to the allegations, both parties prepared forged transcripts through fraudulent means and submitted them to the PSC while applying for the BCS. Subsequent verification confirmed that the certificates were fake.
Based on these allegations, the ACC has filed cases against the three officers under Rule 10(c) of the ACC Regulations, 2007.
