An Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) team inspected the ICT Tower in the capital's Agargaon to investigate some corruption allegations.

The three-member team mainly inspected the Agency to Innovate (A2i) this morning as there had emerged some allegations of corruption during the previous administration, Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, ICT policy adviser for coordination and reform told The Business Standard.

ICT officials cooperated with the investigation team and handed over the relevant A2i contracts, project documents, and investigation reports prepared by the interim government to the anti-graft body, he said.

This was not a raid, rather an investigation effort by the ACC, he added.
