536 cartons of cigarettes seized at Chattogram airport

Five hundred and thirty six cartons of "Dunhill" and "555" brands cigarettes were seized from three passengers at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram on Wednesday.  

According to the airport sources, customs intelligence officials seized around 135 cartons cigarettes from Fatikchhari's Nezam Uddin, 131 cartons from Lohagora upazila's Mamunur Rashid and another 270 cartons from Mohammad of Chandanaish upazila.

The customs house has been taking necessary legal steps against the arrestees.
