5 top police officials transferred
The matter was confirmed by an official notification issued by the Home Ministry on Thursday

An additional deputy inspector general of police and four superintendents of police (SP) have been given new postings.
The Home Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Thursday.
According to the notification, Additional Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Mofiz Uddin Ahmed was transferred to Sylhet range as deputy inspector general while DMP Deputy Commissioner Md Masudur Rahman was posted at the Police Headquarters as SP.

SP Mohammad Harun Ar Rashid was transferred from the police headquarters to DMP as Deputy Commissioner, SP Alimuzzaman was transferred from Faridpur to Meherpur and SP Murad Ali was transferred from Meherpur to Faridpur.
Their transfer orders have been made effective immediately.
