4 ex-members of Hasina's Cabinet seen together at London wedding of AL leader's son
"It is shameful to even think about how they participate in such events after fleeing the country, leaving hundreds of thousands of AL and affiliated organisation leaders and activists in danger," a UK Jubo League leader, who wished to remain anonymous, told Prothom Alo

At least four former ministers and state ministers of the ousted Awami League government have been seen in London at the wedding ceremony of Faiyaz Rahman, son of UK Awami League General Secretary Syed Sajidur Rahman Farooq, reports Prothom Alo.
The wedding ceremony was held yesterday (20 April) at the InterContinental Hotel in London's O2 area.
Those who attended the wedding included AL Joint General Secretary and former foreign minister Hasan Mahmud, Presidium Member and former fisheries and livestock minister Abdur Rahman, Organisational Secretary and former state minister for shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, and Sylhet District Awami League President and former state minister for expatriate welfare and overseas employment Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury.
Former member of parliament (MP) for Sylhet-3, Habibur Rahman Habib, was also present at the wedding ceremony.
This is the first time these four former ministers and state ministers of the AL government, which was ousted from power following a mass uprising on 5 August last year, have been seen together at an event.
Previously, on 8 December last year, Presidium Member and former minister Abdur Rahman and Sylhet District Awami League President Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury were seen publicly for the first time at a virtual gathering of Sheikh Hasina in London.
On 2 February this year, the party's Organisational Secretary and former state minister Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury was seen at an AL activists' rally in London.
On 30 March, Awami League Joint General Secretary and former foreign minister Hasan Mahmud appeared publicly at an Eid prayer in London. Previously, there were rumours that he was in Belgium. He came to London to celebrate Eid with his son, who is studying there.
At the AL leader's son's wedding, UK AL leaders and activists expressed frustration at the former ministers' presence.
"It is shameful to even think about how they participate in such events after fleeing the country, leaving hundreds of thousands of AL and affiliated organisation leaders and activists in danger," a UK Jubo League leader, who wished to remain anonymous, told Prothom Alo.
