4 detained over Shuvo murder in Tongi
Shuvo, a ninth grader was hacked to death by several culprits

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Thursday detained four -- including prime accused Pappu -- in connection with the murder of Shuvo Ahmed in Tongi.
Confirming the matter, Assistant Superintendent of Police and acting company commander of RAB-1 Md Salah Uddin said: “Pappu was detained from Pagar area of Tongi during a drive on Thursday evening.

“Three others were also held from different areas of the capital based on Pappu’s confession. RAB also confiscated the knives used in the murder.”
Quoting case document, Officer-in-Charge of Tongi (east) police station, Kamal Hossain said: “Shuvo, a ninth grader of Future Map School was hacked to death by several culprits around 2am on early hours of Monday.”
Victim’s father Razu Ahmed filed a case accusing Pappu and five other anonymous culprits on Monday.
