4 abandoned grenades recovered in Kamrangirchar

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has recovered four grenades from Kamrangirchar in the capital. Of the recovered items, two were sound grenades and two were tear gas shells.
The grenades were found around 8:15pm yesterday (26 January) in bushes near Khagail Ghat adjacent to the Huzurpara Eidgah under Kamrangirchar Police Station area, confirmed RAB-10 Assistant Director (Media) Taposh Karmakar.
He said a vigilant team from RAB-10's Lalbagh camp recovered the four unexploded grenades, which still had metal levers intact, after receiving information about suspicious objects lying abandoned in the area.
