3 killed in Sunamganj CNG-truck collision
OC Suman said, “We recovered two bodies from the spot. Another died at Shantiganj Health Complex."

Three people, including a mother and a daughter, were killed as a truck and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided head-on in Shantiganj Upazila of Sunamganj.
The accident took place this morning (26 September) at around 7:10am at Shatrumardan Bagherkona village on the Sylhet-Sunamganj regional highway, confirmed Joykalash Highway Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Suman Kumar Chowdhury.
The deceased were identified as Abadit Keshba, 40, her daughter Prothoma Chowdhury, a seventh-grade student of Satish Chandra Girls High School, and CNG driver Sajal Ghosh, 50, of Nabinagar in Sunamganj town.
OC Suman said, "We recovered two bodies from the spot. Another died at Shantiganj Health Complex. The truck and CNG have been seized."

Shantiganj Fire Service team lead, Alamgir also confirmed recovering two bodies from the spot.
According to witnesses, a speeding Sunamganj-bound truck hit the Sylhet-bound CNG, leaving the truck in water and the CNG mangled. Two people died on the spot, while Prothoma died at Shantiganj Health Complex.
Shantiganj Upazila Health Officer Iqbal Hasan said the girl had already died on the way, while two others were brought in dead. Relative Gobinda Kumar Das confirmed the sequence of deaths.
Locals caught truck driver Parvez Ahmed and handed him over to police.
