3 killed as pickup collides with easybike in Khulna
Two people were killed on the spot, and another passed away on the way to the hospital after the collision

Three passengers of a battery-run auto-rickshaw were killed and two others critically injured after a pickup lost control and collided head-on with the three-wheeler at Dumuria Upazila in Khulna.
The incident occurred in the upazila's Jiler Danga area on the Khulna-Satkhira Highway around 9am today (25 August), police said.
Two people were killed on the spot, and another passed away on the way to the hospital after the collision, according to locals and the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
The injured were rescued and admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital, Dumuria Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) (Investigation) Md Aser Ali said.
According to witnesses, the auto-rickshaw, locally known as easybike, was carrying seven passengers from Dumuria Bazaar towards Gollamari when the collision occurred.
Two of the deceased, who died at the scene, were identified as auto-rickshaw driver Mujahidul Morol and passenger Rina Khatun.
OC Aser Ali said the pickup driver and his assistant managed to flee after the accident. "Efforts are underway to identify and catch them."
