2 killed as truck dashes pickup in Gazipur

Two people were killed and four others injured as a truck hit a pickup in the city early Tuesday.
One of the deceased was identified as Mohammad Naim, hailing from Kishoreganj district.
Officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station Samir Sutradhar said the truck crashed into the Sreepur-bound pickup from behind at Purabari around 2:30am, leaving two of its passengers dead on the spot and four others injured.

Police recovered the bodies and sent those to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
Naim met the accident while going to his father-in-laws' house at Mawna of Sreepur from Tongi.
