2 books of journalist Faruk Mehedy unveiled
Two books written by senior journalist and Kaler Kantho Head of News Faruk Mehedi were unveiled yesterday (3 February).
The books are titled "The economy of crisis and opportunity: face to face with the best" and "My best lead news". The unveiling ceremony was held yesterday afternoon at the Batighar auditorium of Bishwo Shahitto Kendro in the capital, with economist and banker Mamun Rashid unveiling the books.
The event was organised by publishing house Ayon Prokashon. The chief guest was Professor Dr Muhammad Helal Uddin, Executive Vice Chairman of the Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA). The programme was chaired by Major General (retd) Jiban Kanai Das, Country Director of the Sir William Beveridge Foundation and former CEO of Channel Twenty Four.
