127 joint secretaries promoted to additional secretary
The government has promoted 127 Joint Secretaries to the post of Additional Secretary.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification to this end today (22 April).
The order has been issued in public interest.

According to the ministry sources, there are 212 permanent posts of additional secretary and with this the total number of additional secretaries reached to 415.
