12 shops gutted in Khagrachhari

Twelve shops were gutted in a fire at Boalkhali Bazar under Dighinala upazila of the hilly district this morning.
Fire Service sources said the fire originated from a restaurant namely Darbar Hotel at around 7am and spread to adjacent shops.
However, the reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.

Being informed, members of the Fire Service rushed to the spot and doused the fire after a half an hour of effort.
The amount of damages could not be known immediately.
