10 vehicles fined Tk30 lakh for operating without registration inside Ctg port

A joint team of the district administration and the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) today (8 October) imposed a fine of Tk30 lakh on 10 vehicles for driving without registration inside the jetty, yard and terminal of Chattogram port.
Executive Magistrate Md Mahmud Hasan led the operation and instructed Saif Powertec to bring all vehicles under registration as soon as possible, reads a press release.
During the operation, at least 60 different types of unregistered vehicles of Saif Powertec were seen at different terminals inside Chattogram port, the release added.
