Jamaat Ameer Shafiqur Rahman launches Multimedia Election Bus
During the campaign, Jamaat Ameer expressed his concern over unemployment and vowed to eliminate it.
Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman has launched a multimedia election bus today (29 January) to boost campaigning ahead of 13th National Election. While campaigning in a parliamentary constituency in Dhaka today, he was seen waving to people from an air-conditioned green bus.
The bus is of the Hyundai Universe Noble (UXN) series, manufactured by the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai Motor Company.
During the campaign, Jamaat Ameer expressed his concern over unemployment and vowed to eliminate it. He also pledged to ensure safe transportation for women.
Speaking about employment for youths, Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer said, "We won't provide unemployment allowances rather, we will eliminate unemployment. We will train the youth, make them skill worker and ensure dignified work for them."
Pledging to ensure safe transportation for women, the Jamaat Ameer said, "Whether women stay at home or work outside, ensuring the dignity and safety of all is our goal. We want to make their workplaces and movement safe."
Earlier, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman had been travelling on a red bus since his arrival in the country on 25 December last year.
