Following a missile attack launched by Iran against Israel, Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir issued a provocative statement on social media, calling for retaliation against Tehran.
In a post on X, Ben-Gvir wrote, "Tonight Tehran must burn".
The Israeli military said its air defense systems were activated to intercept incoming missiles and urged residents to follow safety instructions and seek shelter during the attack.
Israel's national emergency medical service, Magen David Adom, said there were no immediate reports of injuries following the missile launch.
