Saudi Arabia to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Sunday
UAE will also celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Sunday

Saudi Arabia will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Sunday (30 March) as the Shawwal crescent moon was sighted in the kingdom today (29 March), reports Saudi Gazette.
Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has also announced that the country will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Sunday, according to Gulf News.
Earlier, Australia, Malaysia and Indonesia announced that they will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Monday (31 March), Gulf News reported.
The sighting of the crescent moon determines the first day of Shawwal, which marks Eid-ul-Fitr.
Although Bangladesh does not rely on Saudi Arabia to determine the date of Eid to be celebrated in the country, several villages in Chattogram, Moulvibazar, Chandpur and Jamalpur celebrate Eid in line with Saudi Arabia.
