The Danish Maritime Authority on Monday reported a gas leak near the Baltic Sea island of Bornholm, which is near the idle Russian Nord Stream 2 pipeline, Interfax news agency reported.
It said the authority had advised vessels to steer clear of the area, according to the news agency.
The reports followed a sudden drop in pressure in the defunct Nord Stream 2, which a spokesperson for its operator told Reuters could have been caused by a leak.
