India hikes jet fuel and commercial LPG prices
Commercial LPG prices have also been increased from Rs2,738 to Rs2,747.50 per 19kg cylinder.
India today (1 September) increased the price of jet fuel by Rs6.28 per litre, or 5.46%, to Rs121.28 per litre for domestic airlines, according to state-owned oil companies.
The increase comes a month after jet fuel prices were raised by Rs5 per litre.
Commercial LPG prices have also been increased from Rs2,738 to Rs2,747.50 per 19kg cylinder.

The increase follows two consecutive monthly cuts – a steep Rs192 reduction per 19kg cylinder on 1 August and Rs183.50 on 1 July.
After the outbreak of the conflict in late February, commercial LPG prices had risen sharply from Rs1,373 per 19kg cylinder to Rs3,113.50 in June.
Jet fuel and LPG prices are revised on the first of every month based on benchmark international prices and foreign exchange rates.
The price of domestic LPG used in household kitchens remains unchanged at Rs942 per 14.2kg cylinder. Domestic LPG prices were last raised by Rs29 per cylinder on 7 June.
Prices had increased by Rs60 in March after the West Asia crisis led to supply disruptions and a surge in international energy prices.
Petrol and diesel prices, which were increased by around Rs7.50 per litre each in May, also remain unchanged.
