A magnitude-4.3 earthquake struck the Gerash region in southern Iran on Tuesday (3 March), the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said, in a shallow seismic event that was felt locally.
According to the USGS, the tremor occurred at a depth of about 10 kilometres (6.2 miles) beneath the Earth's surface.
