Strikes in Tehran and other Iranian cities
Overnight attacks were reported in Tehran and several other cities. Residents said explosions were heard across multiple neighbourhoods.
Mehrabad airport hit
Tehran's Mehrabad airport, one of the city's main airports, was reportedly targeted. Footage showed parts of the airport catching fire.
Civilian areas affected
Reports indicate that residential areas, schools, and hospitals have been impacted, alongside military and political facilities.
Thousands of targets struck
US Central Command said more than 3,000 targets in Iran have been hit since the start of the conflict. Israel carried out a broad-scale wave of strikes on Tehran.

Israeli attacks in Beirut targeted command centres linked to Hezbollah. Lebanese state media reported more than 200 people killed and nearly 800 wounded.
Israeli casualties
Explosions were reported over Tel Aviv from Iranian and Lebanese fire. Eight Israeli soldiers were reported wounded by Hezbollah attacks.
Tensions in the Gulf
Saudi Arabia intercepted multiple Iranian drones and a missile. Early warning sirens were sounded in Bahrain. Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates faced additional Iranian attacks. Gulf states hosting US military bases reported that their territory was not used for attacks on Iran.
UN calls for diplomacy
UN Secretary-General António Guterres called for urgent diplomatic negotiations, warning that the situation could escalate further.
US position
President Donald Trump said there would be no deal with Iran except "unconditional surrender," indicating no timeline for ending hostilities.
