An Indian crew member aboard a US-owned oil tanker was killed when the vessel came under attack in the waters near Iraq's Basra Port.
The Indian Embassy in Iraq confirmed the death today (12 March) and stated that 15 other Indian crew members on board the ship were safely evacuated.
