Zohran Mamdani, a New York City council candidate, has named Boishakhi, a Bengali cuisine restaurant on 36th Avenue, as his favourite eatery.

In a quick interview, he shared some of his other favourite restaurants, including Kabob King, Bahari Estiatorio, Elias Corner, and Abuqir, which he praised for its seafood.
