US finalizes $175 billion space project
On May 20, President Trump unveiled plans for a space-based defense program called Golden Dome, which is being developed to counter missile threats from China and Russia. The nearly $175 billion project will use hundreds of satellites to detect, track, and intercept missiles. It will be led by U.S. Space Force General Michael Gatlin.
