Beijing eases chip exports to Europe after Netherlands-China tensions
China is set to ease restrictions on chip exports to Europe after a row with the Netherlands. The ban was imposed in response to the Dutch government taking control of the Chinese-owned chip company Nexperia, based in the Netherlands. However, Beijing is considering granting exemptions to some companies due to chip shortages in the European car industry and global supply problems.
