The company's Medical Information Officer (MPO) and some area managers have been on strike for the past six months after not receiving their salaries and allowances. They held a blockade program in front of the head office of General Pharmaceutical Limited located in Shyamoli, Dhaka on August 12. They have threatened to close all depots across the country if their eight-point demands are not met.
