The decisions reached in the discussions of the Consensus Commission
Political parties have failed to reach a decision in discussions with the National Consensus Commission on how the upper house of the bicameral parliament will be formed. After the discussions on June 29, National Consensus Commission Vice-Chairman Professor Ali Riaz outlined the progress of the meeting. He said that although the discussions failed to reach a consensus, the commission is optimistic about unity.
