Elections to be held early next year; Yunus tells Rubio
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke to Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor to the interim government of Bangladesh, over the phone on June 30. The nearly 15-minute call touched on a range of important issues, including strengthening economic ties between the two countries, security in the Indo-Pacific region, the upcoming elections and the Rohingya crisis.
