Trump threatens 100% tariffs on trade with Russia
US President Donald Trump has announced his first major move on the Ukraine issue since taking office for the second time in the White House. In a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, he said that the United States would send "high-quality weapons" to Ukraine through NATO. At the same time, Trump gave Russia a 50-day ultimatum. He threatened to impose 100 percent secondary tariffs on Russia if a peace agreement with Ukraine is not reached within the specified time.
