Pakistan knows diplomacy to please Trump
Washington has long shunned Pakistan — citing political instability and alleged ties to US-sanctioned militant groups. Pakistan is also a close ally of China — an added problem for the US. Trump's predecessor, President Joe Biden, never called a Pakistani prime minister. After the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, he called Pakistan "one of the most dangerous countries in the world."
