Notion’s new email app promises calm in the chaos
Unlike cluttered email apps full of tabs and buttons, Notion Mail comes with a clean, text-first design that is easy on the eyes

If your inbox feels more like a battlefield than a workspace, you are not alone. Notion, the company behind the popular note-taking app and Notion Calendar, has just launched a new tool designed to bring order back to your email.
Meet Notion Mail, now available for web and Mac users, with an iOS version in the works. This is Notion's third major product — and it is a big one. Email is still at the heart of modern work, and Notion wants to be your all-in-one hub.
Unlike cluttered email apps full of tabs and buttons, Notion Mail keeps things simple. It has a clean, text-first design that is easy on the eyes. You can customise what your inbox shows, sort messages however you like, and even switch between light and dark modes.
But the real magic is in its AI tools. With a single click, you can label similar emails — like receipts or meeting invites — even if they do not come from the same sender. Notion's AI reads the content and groups things based on what matters to you. These labels then become "Views," personalised filters that help you stay organised without creating chaos in your inbox.
According to The Verge, you can even use slash commands — familiar to Notion users — to format emails or add calendar links. There is a built-in scheduling tool, and yes, the AI can help write your emails too.
