Nationwide protests erupt demanding justice for Ramisa

Teachers, students, and guardians demonstrated in the capital's Mirpur-11 today (21 May), demanding exemplary punishment for those responsible for the rape and murder of eight-year-old Ramisa Akter, a student of Popular Model High School in Pallabi. They brought out a procession from in front of the building where Ramisa’s family lives and marched through several roads in the area.
