Kazi Food Industries builds trust through quality and innovation
Over the years, KFIL has built a portfolio spanning ice cream, frozen foods, and bakery products, with three major brands at its core: Bellissimo, Za'n Zee, and Kazi Farms Kitchen.
Kazi Food Industries Limited (KFIL), a venture of Kazi Farms Group, has grown from a relatively recent entrant into an increasingly recognised name in Bangladesh's consumer food market. Since beginning its journey in 2013, the company has pursued a clear ambition—to become the country's most trusted consumer food company.
Over the years, KFIL has built a portfolio spanning ice cream, frozen foods, and bakery products, with three major brands at its core: Bellissimo, Za'n Zee, and Kazi Farms Kitchen.
Bellissimo caters to the premium ice cream segment, offering dairy ice cream with a minimum 10% milk fat, in line with international standards. Za'n Zee offers another range of ice creams and ice lollies, giving consumers a wider choice across different price points and preferences.
Kazi Farms Kitchen (KFK), meanwhile, has emerged as one of the company's strongest consumer brands. Launched in late 2014, the frozen food brand has established a significant presence in Bangladesh's rapidly expanding convenience-food market. Its portfolio includes a variety of frozen and prepared food products, while its franchise network has expanded rapidly to more than 170 outlets across the country.
KFIL has also diversified into bakery products, launching the line in 2020 as part of its broader effort to meet changing consumer needs.
For KFIL, however, growth is closely tied to its emphasis on food safety and quality. The company's frozen meat products are produced under standards designed to minimise concerns over antibiotic residues. Chickens are not fed antibiotics during the seven days before slaughter, while the company also uses feed without meat and bone meal. Its meat products are prepared without MSG and nitrates.
These practices reflect KFIL's stated mission of providing consumers with food that is safe, free from harmful chemicals, innovative, and of high quality, while remaining affordable.
The company's ambitions have also extended beyond Bangladesh. KFIL entered the export market in 2019 and has since supplied flour-based and frozen food products to markets across Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East, and Oceania. Its export destinations include the UK, Italy, France, Ireland, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Malta, the Maldives, and Portugal.
To support its domestic and international operations, KFIL operates a factory in Beron, Ashulia, Dhaka, while its corporate office is located in Dhanmondi.
The company holds halal and ISO certifications, along with HACCP certification and FDA registration for the US market. These certifications are particularly important as Bangladeshi food manufacturers seek to strengthen consumer confidence at home while expanding their presence abroad.
From ice cream and frozen food to bakery products and international exports, KFIL's journey reflects the broader evolution of Bangladesh's home-grown consumer food industry. Its stated goal remains straightforward: to build trust by putting safety, quality, and innovation at the center of what it brings to consumers.
