Bangladesh national women's football team hold their first training in Yangon, Myanmar ahead of the FC Women's Asian Cup Australia 2026 Qualifiers.

According to a audio message received here from Bangladesh Football Federation this afternoon, the training session went well despite the rainy weather.

All players were fit, healthy and in good spirits. The coaching staffs were satisfied with the team's energy and focus during the training session.

"We had a first raining session in the ground and everyone practiced very attentively….we are practicing the way the coach showed us and all the players are in good shape," said the Bangladesh captain Afeida Khandakar after the training session today.

The whole team enjoyed the training under the rain. As the team arrived in Myanmar few days before the tournament, it would be easier for team to adapt to local condition, she added.

Team assistant coach Mahmuda Akter said after reaching safely in Myanmar on Wednesday, the booters skipped first day ground training due to rain and worked gym in the hotel.

She said the booters also faced the same condition like the first day but they completed their training in proper way and the players were sound and fit.

Bangladesh, which pitted in group C along with Bahrain, Turkmenistan and host Myanmar, will start their tournament campaign taking on Bahrain on June 29.

The girls in red and green will play their remaining group matches against host Myanmar and Turkmenistan on July 2 and July 5 respectively.

All the matches will be held at Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon.
