Women's booters continue full-fledge training in Yangon

Defying the rain, the Bangladesh national women's football team completed their third training session at training field-5 in Yangon, Myanmar ahead of the FC Women's Asian Cup Australia 2026 Qualifiers.

The players maintained strong focus and energy throughout the session.

All players are in good health and adapting well to the environment. The team continues to prepare with determination and unity as they look forward to their first match on June 29 against Bahrain.

Team assistant goalkeeper coach Masud Ahmed said the main focus has been given on tactics that technique in the training session and work is also being done on the weaknesses of custodians.

"In fact, I am trying to prepare the goalkeepers for the level of performance that is required on the Asian stage and we hope we'll return home with a good result from Myammar" he said.

Custodian Swarna Rani Mondal said they are taking preparation as the way that the team coach instructed. She also hoped to make a good start in their first match against Bahrain and optimistic to return home with a good result. 
 
Bangladesh, which pitted in group C along with Bahrain, Turkmenistan and host Myanmar, will start their tournament campaign taking on Bahrain on June 29.

The girls in red and green will play their remaining group matches against host Myanmar and Turkmenistan on July 2 and July 5 respectively.

All the matches will be held at Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon.
